For people with more than one
Social media for several brands
With one project most people manage. With three they manage none of them. That is not a discipline problem — it is arithmetic. This page explains exactly where it tips over, and what helps.
Not a little for each every day. Once, in one go, for all of them.
Three brands on three networks each is nine channels — and with almost every tool, nine times the money. Kosmopost counts projects: €46.40 incl. VAT for three brands.
Written on 24 August 2026 by Patrick Schoenmaker, self-employed since 2010 with an international fitness congress, two clothing brands and three apps. The quotes come from a survey among self-employed people on 19 August 2026 and are translated from German.
The short answer
If you only have ten seconds
Why it goes quiet in rotation once you have several projects: every project needs its own voice, its own topics and its own images. That is not the same work three times — it is different work three times, and most of the time is lost in the switching between them.
What helps is not more diligence but a different split: not a little for each one every day, but once, in one go, for all of them — and after that a machine that handles the rest. The effort moves from “every day” to “once a month”.
And one detail that matters more than it sounds: almost every tool bills per channel. Run three brands on three networks each and you pay nine times. Kosmopost bills per project — €46.40 a month incl. VAT (€38.99 net) for three brands with all of their channels.

minimum gap between two publications, across all projects. There is a reason for that brake.
The tipping point
Why it tips over
at the second project
With one brand you keep it up for a while. You know the topics, you know how it sounds, and you notice immediately when three days have passed with nothing.
At the second one something happens that nobody plans for: you have to switch. Different audience, different tone, different images, different things you are not allowed to claim. That switching costs more energy than the writing itself — and it costs it afresh every time.
From the third onwards it turns into a quiet ranking. One runs, because it is bringing in money right now. One runs halfway. And one goes quiet and never wakes up again, because a profile with three months of silence feels wrong to just carry on from.
Automation helps with the distribution, but not with the actual bottleneck — that in the evening you have neither the time nor the head for an image and a text. With four things on the go, that is exactly the part that falls off first, however good the tool is. Self-employed, 19 August 2026, translated from German
Social media is important, but in the daily grind it is rarely urgent.Virtual assistant, 23 August 2026, translated from German
That contains all of it. Clients push. Invoices push. The accountant pushes. Instagram does not push. With one project you can bridge that with willpower. With three you cannot — then the willpower has to stretch three times, and it never stretches three times.
What actually helps
Three things,
in exactly this order
The order is not arbitrary. Start with the third one and you are automating an empty stock.
- 01 Gather instead of spreading Not a little for each project every evening, but everything in one sitting. The switching between brands then happens once a month instead of sixty times. One cleared afternoon achieves more than four weeks of good intentions.
- 02 Write down the rules of each brand — once How it sounds, who it is for, which images fit, what may never be claimed. At Kosmopost that is called the project brain: seven questions in plain sentences. The benefit only shows up later, but then clearly — and if an AI tool helps you write, you hand it the same seven answers to read.
- 03 Hand over the rhythm, not the content What is left after that is admin: remembering, logging in, uploading, hitting the right hour, not doing too much at once. A machine handles that better than a person — because it does not get tired and does not skip the day when a lot is going on.
The maths
Why “per channel”
gets expensive with several brands
Almost all scheduling tools bill by connected account. With one brand that hardly shows. With three it does — and it gets more expensive every time one brand picks up another network.
Concrete competitor prices are on the comparison pages, linked in the footer.
Three brands, one amount. And it does not change when a network is added.
| Your case | Kosmopost | Billing per channel |
|---|---|---|
| 3 brands on 2 networks each 6 channels | €46.40 incl. VAT €38.99 net | 6 × the channel price |
| 3 brands on 3 networks each 9 channels | €46.40 — unchanged | 9 × the channel price |
| 3 brands on 4 networks each 12 channels | €46.40 — unchanged | 12 × the channel price |
Kosmopost prices incl. 19 % German VAT (€38.99 net). With per-channel billing the amount rises with every network a brand picks up — with Kosmopost it does not, because a project brings all of its channels along.
From the inside
This is what it looks like
when three brands run side by side
Three shots from the app that steers my own brands today. Every project has its own brain, its own stock and its own rhythm. The interface you see is German.
Every project on one sheet
One brain per brand
One stock per brand
Where this comes from
What it looks like
in my own case
I have been self-employed since 2010: an international fitness congress, two clothing brands, three apps. All of it alone. And posting was for years exactly the part that got left undone first — clients and planning during the day, then build an image and write a text in the evening. After that, weeks of nothing.
Kosmopost exists because I had to solve this for myself, not because I went looking for a gap in the market. Since late July my own brands have been running through it — more than 60 posts, daily.
Being honest about it includes what went wrong: on 4 August Meta cut all four of my channel connections, because my autopilot had published too often in a row. Two days of silence. Since then Kosmopost keeps a minimum gap by itself and does not blindly retry after a failure — it stops itself and asks a human. That brake would not exist if it had not caught me first.
The decision
Does this fit
your situation?
The right-hand column is meant just as seriously as the left one. There are cases where Kosmopost is the wrong tool.
This fits you if …
- … you have two or more brands of your own that should each sound like themselves.
- … one of them goes quiet in rotation and you have watched that happen twice already.
- … posting is not your actual business.
- … you look after several presences for clients — the Pro tier holds ten projects.
- … it matters to you that the data sits in Germany.
This does NOT fit if …
- … you have one single brand with one or two channels — then a simple scheduler is cheaper.
- … you need analytics and reports. Kosmopost has none.
- … you want an AI to invent the posts. It does not, on purpose.
- … you need TikTok or LinkedIn today — so far Instagram and Facebook are running.
Frequently asked
What people want to know first
If your question is missing, send it to hello@kosmopost.ai — it will end up here.
What counts as one project?
One brand with one voice. A shop, a practice, a studio, an app, an association. Every channel of that brand belongs to it and costs nothing extra — Instagram and Facebook today, TikTok and LinkedIn later. What counts as a separate project is your call: if two brands genuinely sound the same and speak to the same people, you can run them as one.
Is it worth it with only two projects?
Rarely, in pure arithmetic — honestly. With two small brands on two channels each, a scheduler that bills per channel is often cheaper. The advantage turns from three brands onwards, or as soon as one brand has more than two networks. What counts even with two is the other point: that it keeps running when you do not look at it for three weeks.
Can my projects have different schedules?
Yes. You decide per project when and how often something is published — one daily, one three times a week, one paused. Kosmopost sticks to it, even if you do not look for a long time. And it makes sure by itself that two projects never send at the same moment: that is exactly what cost me all four channels on 4 August 2026.
What happens if one project takes a break?
Nothing bad. You pause it, the others carry on. The stock stays where it is and continues when you switch it back on. There is also an emergency stop that halts everything at once with a single click — all projects together.
I look after presences for clients. Does that work too?
The Pro tier is meant for that: ten projects for €105.90 a month incl. VAT (€88.99 net), so €10.59 per project. What is missing today are approval roles for the client and client reports. If your clients expect monthly reports, you will still need a second tool for that.
Do I have to set everything up again for each project?
You answer the seven questions of the project brain per brand — that is the real effort, and it happens once. After that you connect the channels and fill the stock. The second brand goes considerably faster than the first, because by then you know what the questions are driving at.
